Meet Obioma Faison | Private Chef & Food Stylist
We had the good fortune of connecting with Obioma Faison and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Obioma, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Thank you Christian! I’d like to share an affirmation that made me realize who I am and why I should always be on the path I’ve always wanted. It states:
Modern Nigerian Breakfast- Eggs and Plantain
What's a Nigerian breakfast without plantains or eggs, that breakfast isn’t a real breakfast. I’m sure my fellow West Africans can agree, we don’t play with our “plantains” lol
Meet Obioma Faison of B.Y.O. Chef in Plano
Today we’d like to introduce you to Obioma Faison.
Obioma, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far?
What is the best advice you have for someone who feels like they are facing insurmountable odds?
This takes me several years back when I thought I’d lost everything. I felt powerless as life made decisions for me. Through all the uncertainty only one thing made sense, food. In the midst of my odds, cooking became my place of solace, healer of my hopelessness, and my source of strength.
